A very spooky study

Biology professor Ruth Fabien-Fine’s research is not for the faint hearted. Dozens of jars containing large spiders fill nearly every crevice of her office.

Fabien-Fine and her students are working on two studies. One involves dissecting the spiders and remapping their sensory systems. The other examines the impact of extended periods of stimulation and how it affects their brains.
